Anthony 9-11 Memorial 10th Anniversary
The very first thing I saw as I approached the park that morning were the flags out-lining Memorial Park.
Our local Kiwanis Club put these same flags out on holidays around Anthony for a slight annual subscription fee. Our town looks so nice when they are all out.
We had just the right amount of wind that morning for the flags to blow out straight.
Flags, fire trucks and grain elevators; these are a few of my favorite things. That's me on the left, (a rare sighting of me in the line of a camera.)
The local girl scouts handed out programs to our early visitor.
My 19' x 13' flag at the top of the ladder truck. This flag was flown on the USS Mississippi during the first gulf war.
